West Jakarta Prepares 37 Pump Houses to Face the Upcoming Rainy Season

Each house has two until three pumps with a capacity of 100, 250 up to 300 liters per second

Around 37 pump houses with 100 pumps in eight sub-districts in West Jakarta are ready to face the upcoming rainy season.

But the 7 out of them are damaged and still being repaired. It will be finished by the end of this month.

"Each house has two until three pumps with a capacity of 100, 250 up to 300 liters per second," expressed West Jakarta Water Resources Sub-agency's Raw Water, Clean Water and Waste Water Floods Control System Maintenance Division Head, Imam Prasetyo, Thursday (10/3).

Those 37 pump houses are in Rawa Kepa Stationer Pump, Wijaya Kusuma, Gg Macan, Pondok Bandung, Slipi Hankam I, Slipi Hankam II, Pinangsia, RW 09 Pedongkelan, Religious Agency, Kebon Raya, RW 01 Semanan, Satpas SIM, Pool PPD, Kedoya Utara, Mangga Raya.

There are also in RW 03 Kalideres, Teratai Kembangan Utara, Klingkit Cengkareng, Kampung Apung, Bojong Indah, RW 04 Kembangan Utara, Tomang Flyover, RW 01 Kembangan Utara, RW 08 Kedaung Kali Angke, RW 07 Semanan, Kyai Tapa, Taman Ratu, Apuran River, Bojong Connecting Channel, Dharma Wanita, Jelambar Borobudur, KFT, Duta Mas, Cibubur, Patra Dharma Wanita 2 and Satria Stationer Pump.
